Code Compliance and Animal Control

Code Compliance and Animal Control works in partnership with the citizens of Kelso to maintain the safety, health, welfare, and livability of our neighborhoods and to protect animals and promote their humane treatment through the use of various Kelso Municipal Codes, including the International Property Maintenance Code, the Animal Control Code and the International Residential Code. The goal of Code Compliance and Animal Control is to gain voluntary compliance through education and assistance. If voluntary compliance cannot be achieved, civil or criminal penalties may be imposed to the violator.
